Shall the Days Float Through Our Eyes is a small but vivid fragment — two fleeting immersions into a wider sonic universe. At once a contained miniature and a new point of departure, it extends my work with density, resonance, and space while opening a different line of exploration.

« Visonary ambient » – Rockerilla

The record brings together two contrasting pieces. Lissitzky unfolds with the tension of an abstract construction, driven by sharp lines and architectural force. Skelton moves more slowly, steeped in grain and melancholy, revealing an intimate, fragile state. One leans toward structure, the other toward sentiment. Together, they form a condensed, interior experience.

Both pieces were recorded live in a former industrial space, where the double bass — prepared and extended through desynchronised loopers — resonated through the building’s walls, balconies, and cavities. The architecture became part of the music, shaping a tactile, almost visual sound.

Released in an ultra-limited lathe-cut edition with Skew Note (cut strictly to order) and in digital format, this 7” stands as a quiet prelude to a new cycle of forthcoming work.
